British Science Week in Year 4

Year 4 started British Science Week off with a big celebration of Science in the real world. They dressed up in Science related costumes and began to look at the theme of 'Growth'. We looked at careers growing in the Science world around us and the need for them. We watched a PowerPoint of 'Careers at Wodensfield' which our staff, friends and parents have helped us compile. Some of the Year 4 relatives appeared in it and our children enjoyed talking about their roles. We will continue our week looking at the Growth of plants and how plants grow at different rates and if there are variations of growth from the same type of seeds and why. We will also look at how the Growth of climate change is affecting our planet and the living things and their habitats that live there. We have set a poster competition in school and given possible home activities for those who want to continue science at home. Thank you as always for your support.
