D&T in Year 2 “Project Pouch”

We have been enjoying learning a new skill in D&T over the last few weeks. The children have tried their hand at sewing. They have managed the tricky task of threading a needle, cutting felt and sewing a running stitch. We found quite quickly that we needed to be resilient at times and to persevere, but it has been a great sense of achievement to see how much progress we made as we practiced.
