Harvest

We will be celebrating Harvest next week in school. We know you understand that we cannot hold our traditional Harvest Assembly, but we still want to make it an enjoyable event for the children.

Every class will perform during a microsoft teams assembly, either on Monday or Friday. We are looking forward to hearing Harvest songs and poems, important facts about Harvest, sharing art work and finding out about our Harvest Charities. We are asking for any donation that you feel able to give- sorry it will have to be money not food this year.

All donations will be shared between the Elias Mattu Foundation and The Well. Both are local charities, who do outstanding work supporting families in Wolverhampton. We ask that children bring a small donation which will be put into a class collection box. This will be quarantined until after 1/2 term, when it will then be sent to the above charities.

Although as parents you will not be able to join our Harvest, please talk to your children about the event so that you can share some of the celebration.

We will be sharing Harvest bread with the children during the week, and talking about being thankful for our families and food. (We will make sure children with dairy or gluten allergies are also able to join in)
