Mental Health Awareness Week in Year 2

We have been spending extra time thinking about our feelings this week. We have explored different emotions, what makes us feel certain feelings and looking at ways to regulate our emotions. We have had lots of discussions in class about how things happen during the day that change our moods to enable us to identify and acknowledge how we feel. It is natural to experience all emotions at some point but they won’t all last forever.


Yoga, box breathing and meditation have helped us to regulate and stories and discussions with staff and peers have helped to understand what our feelings mean and how we can help ourselves feel better if we have negative feelings.
