The Covid Summer Food Fund vouchers are only available for children with a benefits-related FSM claim registered on or before the end of term (Friday 17 July 2020). This is not the same as the Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) scheme which provides free meals to all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 when they are attending school.
The City of Wolverhampton Council, the NHS in Wolverhampton and Public Health England are working together to stop the spread of the coronavirus. To keep up to date with key national guidance and local information please visit: www.wolverhampton.gov.uk/coronavirus-advice-and-information
To all parents / carers who have been issued with vouchers through the Covid Summer Food Fund; Please note:
The national voucher provider, Edenred, has prepared a list of FAQs for parents and carers (https://www.edenred.co.uk/Documents/DfE/DfE_FreeSchoolMeals_ParentCarerFAQs.pdf)
If you have any questions about the vouchers, please email freeschoolmealsparentscarers@edenred.com with your query.
Vouchers must not be used for age-restricted items, such as alcohol, cigarettes or lottery tickets.
Unfortunately, the Free School Meals team at City of Wolverhampton Council cannot help with queries about vouchers or food provision
