We hope you have had a good summer break and that you are looking forward to all children returning to school.
Please read the attached letter (originally sent out on the 14th July) This letter contains all of the information needed regarding the return to school for children from Y1 to Y6 on the 4th September.
Children starting Reception or Nursery have been sent information in the post or hand delivered by the Early Years staff.
As you will appreciate there are several significant changes to the way that school normally works. We appreciate that some of these may present challenges, but want to reassure you that all of the measures in place are to ensure the safety of all who will be accessing the school site.
Over the following weeks effective communication between home and school is vital. Please make sure that you provide school with at least two contacts, your current telephone number and email. Your child will bring home a contact form on their first day back in school. Please complete it and return to school by Friday 11th September. Marvellous Me is a great way for teachers to keep you updated, send reward badges and resources. Please make sure you log in. As always the school office are more than willing to help if you experience any issues with Marvellous Me or our online payment system. Please email or call to request support and the office will contact you as soon as possible.
Finally, there is a lot of information on the attached letter, sorry in advance. Please do not hesitate to contact the school office via email if you are unsure about any aspect of the return to school. We will set up year group emails at the start of term, which proved very effective during the summer term.
We really do appreciate the concerns that you and your children may have regarding the return to school. We all want the very best for the children and families of Wodensfield and together we can face the challenges awaiting us in September.
Please take care and enjoy the final days of the summer break.
