Welcome to week 2

Dear Parents, Carers and Pupils,

We just wanted to check at the start of week 2 that you are all ok.

Adapting to the changes in how we work was a huge challenge for us all last week. It will take time and we might not get it right straight away.

Teachers have been posting a super range of learning tasks and online activities, as well as fun things to do in the safety of your own home.

I spoke to some parents last week and they were really pleased with the website links we had sent. Oxford Owl has got e-books to read and phonic activities to get you learning.

We are all in new territory here, learning new skills can be stressful, and all need to find a way to make it work. How it works will be different in every house and will often change from day to day.

Please take time to settle into new routines and make the time to make happy memories too. Get the paint out, or save those boxes and let your imagination take over. (Don't panic, there are some fantastic ideas on the internet if you are stuck )

However, learning can't stop so try to do some maths and reading every day and most days some writing. Don't try to do it all in one go, or for hours and hours. If someday's that just doesn't happen, that's completely ok at the moment.

Each day will be different. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you need any help or advice.
