For the past few weeks, Wodensfield students, families and staff members have been collecting new toys, toiletries, stationary and luxury items for The Haven charity: a charity dedicated to providing safe refuge for women and their children. Today, during our celebration assembly here at school, ‘Friendship Club’ presented all donations to The Haven’s Fundraising Manager Hayley. Her smile was broad and her heart full of gratitude and appreciation to all who contributed. She explained that 120 children will receive a gift this Christmas, all thanks to Wodensfield Primary and the Friendship Club members, supported by Mrs Anderson and Miss Watts.
