On Thursday, we celebrated World Book Day by dressing as our favourite characters. We started our day with a catwalk in assembly where we saw an array of creative and imaginative costumes by children across the school. We were then able to build book nooks and cosy areas within the classroom using blankets, cushions and torches from home to share our books and stories with our friends. We finished the day with a story read to the class by one of our children who volunteered to share her book.
