Good Morning
Good morning! Just a quick update to let you know that all is well. Everyone slept great and the children have now emptied their rooms. We are just at breakfast for our second-to-last meal. The children have two activities this morning, followed by lunch, before heading back to school.

Whitemoor Residential
Children are enjoying the sunshine on their residential, as they continue with a fantastic afternoon of activities in their groups, including Traversing, Zip Lining, Enigma Code Breaking, and Fencing.

Wolverhampton Schools KS2 Gymnastics Champions!
30 KS2 children spent the day performing floor routines and vaults at the Wolverhampton Schools KS2 Gymnastics Competition. After a few weeks of practice, their hard work paid off and they were crowned city champions! Well done to all children who participated!

Digital Competition Winners
Well done to the winners of our ‘Design an AI tool’ competition. There were over 100 entries from Key Stage 2, so it was a very difficult decision. Well done to Hannah, Betsy, Max and Luca. There will be more details of the winning entries in our next Digital Ambassador newsletter.

Together, we celebrate ‘Empathy week’.
As part of our celebration of Empathy Week , we had the pleasure to meet an inspirational member of our community. We were delighted to welcome Manny Singh as our guest speaker. He discussed how we can spread kindness, show understanding, and the importance of seeing the world through the eyes of others. Manny shared his experiences of life as a Sikh and his inspiring work as a fundraiser. It was a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about empathy through real-lif

Year 6's Super Writers
As part of a local authority initiative ending on Children in Need day, a group of our Year 6 pupils have worked incredibly hard to produce a wonderful collaborative piece of writing based on a proverb from around the world. The children chose the proverb "A single bracelet does not jingle" and have crafted an excellent written piece around this, which also includes an array of higher-level sentence structures and punctuation. We are extremely proud of the children's efforts.

Adoption@Heart's Family Patchwork Quilt
We are excited to share that Wodensfield Primary School took part in the Adoption@Heart Countdown Quilt Project ! The quilt has now been revealed online – you can view it here: https://www.adoptionatheart.org.uk/countdown/quilt.html The physical quilt will be displayed at the Wolverhampton Fringe Festival on 28th, 29th and 30th November at The Asylum Art Gallery. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children who contributed to see their patch in real life! More detail
