School Closure Due to Bad Weather
In the event of severe weather, parents are advised to listen to local radio stations: Free, HeartFM, Capital, RadioWM, Signal 1 for updates and to regularly check the City of Wolverhampton Council website. The Wolverhampton Today Facebook page also posts school closures.
Even in severe weather, schools are expected to operate normally wherever possible. Children are expected to attend school, even if other schools in the local area are closed, unless parents have been officially notified that the school is closed.
If the school has to close then parents will be notified by the school’s text message service as soon as possible. Please ensure that we have your up to date mobile number.
