Year 1's Christmas Eve Poems
Year 1 have been very busy innovating a poem about Christmas Eve. Each class have created different versions of the original poem and have chosen actions to accompany each verse (to the tune of 'The Wheels on the Bus'. We hope you enjoy the poem. Year 1 Common Exception Words
To help support children's reading and their recognition of the Common Exception Words (Red Words) we have created a video file that you can watch and read together. We will be using this video in class to further support recognition; the Common Exception Words can also be found in the back of your child's Reading Diary.

Adoption@Heart's Family Patchwork Quilt
We are excited to share that Wodensfield Primary School took part in theĀ Adoption@Heart Countdown Quilt Project ! The quilt has now been revealed online ā you can view it here: https://www.adoptionatheart.org.uk/countdown/quilt.html The physical quilt will be displayed at theĀ Wolverhampton Fringe Festival Ā onĀ 28th, 29th and 30th November Ā at The Asylum Art Gallery. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children who contributed to see their patch in real life! More detail
