It was a pleasure to recognise the achievements of some of our writers in today's Wonderful Writers' assembly. Each child won a special gold pencil and a certificate for their efforts. Well done to all of our wonderful writers, including our winners.

Today, our school came together to celebrate the Harvest Festival with joy and gratitude. Year 6 led the way by exploring the word HARVEST, spelling out meaningful words such as heart, starve, have and earth- reminding us all of the deeper messages behind the season. We had a really  busy Thursday afternoon in Year 1. In Science, the children have been learning about how we use our ears to hear sounds. They investigated how they could create loud or quiet sounds. They created their own musical instruments by using junk materials, pasta, rice, lentils and elastic bands.
