Year 5 enjoyed a very physical music lesson today. They moved to different beats and completed challenges as a whole class!

5S enjoyed a chilly, but fun morning practising their bowling skills with their Staffordshire Cricket coach this morning.

Year 5 spent a wonderful afternoon watching a production of Hairspray at Heath Park School. We enjoyed seeing some former Wodensfield pupils performing and didn't even mind walking in the rain!

Well done to all of our wonderful writers (masquerading as elves!) for this half term. They all received a special certificate and personalised, golden pencil. We’re proud of their efforts and all of our wonderful writers.

Choir attended Sing4Xmas this week - a city event held by Wolverhampton Music Services at St John's Church in Wolverhampton. They joined with a number of schools to sing many festive songs and even performed their own piece in front of a large audience. Many of our children and staff got to perform in some of the songs with other children and teachers, and great fun was had by all. This was a super way to end a very busy month of spreading Christmas cheer out and about in our

Our Year 5 and 6 pupils filled the hall with festive cheer during their carol concerts today. From classic carols to modern pop songs, they truly captured the spirit of the season. Year 5 have been busy elves this week: planning, designing, making and refining Christmas tree decorations. There have been some tricky skills to master, but resilience and determination have resulted in some fabulous designs!
