STEM Racing National Final
Huge congratulations to our team of four who competed in the STEM Racing National Finals in Rotherham! They designed a custom model car, delivered a professional presentation, and built an impressive pit display. We’re incredibly proud of their hard work 🏆 Well done to our national finalists for a fantastic day of engineering and teamwork.

Whitemoor Lakes 2026
Last week’s Year 6 residential was an absolute blast! Two nights away and the children didn’t stop smiling — full of energy, teamwork and brilliant attitudes all the way through. What a trip!

WBD in Y6
Year 6 had a brilliant time celebrating World Book Day by creating their own reading dens using tables, chairs and blankets, transforming the classroom into a cosy maze of miniature hideaways. Look through the picture to see that the reading even spilled out into the corridor!

Our community through coding
Year 6 have been creating Scratch tours of our local area, using variables, broadcasts and selection to make their projects interactive. They’ve enjoyed coding quizzes, fun facts and scene changes into their tours. We’re really proud of their brilliant work—here are a few snapshots!

Termly Book Fairs - Thank You!

STEM Racing
Two STEM racing teams recently travelled to Aston University to compete in the Regional Finals, where they showcased the model cars they had carefully engineered and designed. As part of the competition, pupils delivered a professional presentation, created a pit display and underwent rigorous engineering scrutiny. Year 6 have been enjoying The Dreamsnatcher. From mysterious adventures to magical forests, the story has really captured their imaginations. They’ve been diving into discussions, making predictions, and exploring the vocabulary in the book.

Year 6 Tom Palmer Author Workshop
Yesterday afternoon, our Year 6’s really enjoyed listening to Tom Palmer talk, in a virtual workshop, about being a professional author and to have the opportunity to ask lots of questions. It was great to hear about how he became an author, about some of his books and the inspirations behind them. Thank you, Tom.
