📚 A Huge Thank You to Wednesfield Rotary Club! 📚
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the Wednesfield Rotary Club for their generous donation of books to our EYFS classrooms and our new shelf for our Books4Home set up! Their support is already making a real difference, with our after-school Books4Home library proving to be a fantastic success today! It has been wonderful to see pupils enjoying access to new books and developing a love of reading beyond the classroom. If you see our Books4Home Library outside Nurse

Reception F ice cream treat
Today we had the lovely treat of an ice cream van visiting school to celebrate the hard work of all the children, in particular the Year children completing their SATs 6. We very much enjoyed the treat and luckily the sun was out long enough for us to enjoy them outdoors :)

Police Officer Visit
Reception F were very excited to have a visit from PC Emma Dimmock. This links into our current topic ‘People who help us’. PC Emma Dimmock told us all about her job role, showed us all of the equipment that she uses and even let us try some of her uniform on :) the children had lots of opportunities to comment and ask questions and some of the children said they would like to become a police officer when they are grown up.

Reception F Ingredient Hunt
Reception have been reading Zog and the Flying Doctors and discovered how Princess Pearl had cured her uncle of Orange Fever. This morning we had a letter from Princess Pearl who is now poorly herself with Yellow Fever. She asked us to search our forest for five particular ingredients for her potion and we managed to find them :) We hope that she feels better soon.
