STEM Racing
Two STEM racing teams recently travelled to Aston University to compete in the Regional Finals, where they showcased the model cars they had carefully engineered and designed. As part of the competition, pupils delivered a professional presentation, created a pit display and underwent rigorous engineering scrutiny. Our Year 6’s have really enjoyed their electricity topic in science and problem solving with different electrical circuits.

The Dreamsnatcher
Year 6 have been enjoying The Dreamsnatcher. From mysterious adventures to magical forests, the story has really captured their imaginations. They’ve been diving into discussions, making predictions, and exploring the vocabulary in the book.

Year 6 Tom Palmer Author Workshop
Yesterday afternoon, our Year 6’s really enjoyed listening to Tom Palmer talk, in a virtual workshop, about being a professional author and to have the opportunity to ask lots of questions. It was great to hear about how he became an author, about some of his books and the inspirations behind them. Thank you, Tom.

Haka
Year 6 brought the energy and teamwork to their PE lessons as they learned the traditional Māori haka, embracing rhythm, movement and cultural expression. A great display of energy and enthusiasm.

KS2 Choir - Sing4Xmas
Choir attended Sing4Xmas this week - a city event held by Wolverhampton Music Services at St John's Church in Wolverhampton. They joined with a number of schools to sing many festive songs and even performed their own piece in front of a large audience. Many of our children and staff got to perform in some of the songs with other children and teachers, and great fun was had by all. This was a super way to end a very busy month of spreading Christmas cheer out and about in our
