Choir attended Sing4Xmas this week - a city event held by Wolverhampton Music Services at St John's Church in Wolverhampton. They joined with a number of schools to sing many festive songs and even performed their own piece in front of a large audience. Many of our children and staff got to perform in some of the songs with other children and teachers, and great fun was had by all. This was a super way to end a very busy month of spreading Christmas cheer out and about in our

Our Year 6 children have been thinking about form and function in their design and technology lessons to create their own steady hand games. The project combined creativity, problem solving and electrical know-how. The children worked hard to design, build, and wire their games. Our Year 5 and 6 pupils filled the hall with festive cheer during their carol concerts today. From classic carols to modern pop songs, they truly captured the spirit of the season. A small group of our super Year 6 pupils attended a writing workshop at Wolverhampton's Art Gallery today based around the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. The workshop, hosted by Wolverhampton Council's CLL team, taught the children about using sentences of varying length, different cohesive devices, purposeful vocabulary and circular endings to a story. The children loved looking at the wonderful wildlife photos and all chose one to base their own writing on. A

Our talented STEM Racing Club members brought festive fun and creativity to this year’s Christmas Fair by running their own stalls! Visitors enjoyed exciting activities like ‘Bouncy Ball or Brussels Sprouts’ and Christmas bauble decorating, while browsing a selection of crochet, baked goods and balloons. Thanks to their hard work and enthusiasm, the club raised an amazing £101.81! All proceeds will go towards costumes and materials for the upcoming STEM Racing Regional Final.
