Today, we celebrated our wonderful writers from across school for their super effort, progress and compositions. Well done all.

Huge congratulations to our team of four who competed in the STEM Racing National Finals in Rotherham! ​They designed a custom model car, delivered a professional presentation, and built an impressive pit display. We’re incredibly proud of their hard work 🏆 ​Well done to our national finalists for a fantastic day of engineering and teamwork.

Last week’s Year 6 residential was an absolute blast! Two nights away and the children didn’t stop smiling — full of energy, teamwork and brilliant attitudes all the way through. What a trip!

After an exciting first day, we are pleased to share that all of the children slept well and settled quickly last night. They woke up to a beautifully sunny morning here at Whitemoor Lakes, ready for another day of adventure and activities.

This year’s theme was ‘My Culture, Your Culture, Our Culture’.

Our Year 6 were exemplary role models this afternoon when they joined Year 1 to share their stories for World Book Day.

Year 6 had a brilliant time celebrating World Book Day by creating their own reading dens using tables, chairs and blankets, transforming the classroom into a cosy maze of miniature hideaways. Look through the picture to see that the reading even spilled out into the corridor!

Our Year 6 were exemplary role models this afternoon when they joined Year 1 to share their stories for World Book Day. The year 1 children thoroughly enjoyed it.

Year 6 have been creating Scratch tours of our local area, using variables, broadcasts and selection to make their projects interactive. They’ve enjoyed coding quizzes, fun facts and scene changes into their tours. We’re really proud of their brilliant work—here are a few snapshots!
