Year 5 Black Country Living Museum Visit
Year 5 enjoyed a fabulous day at the Black Country Living Museum. They were able to see all of their learning from history lessons in Year 4 and 5 come to life. The children were fascinated by all they saw and listened intently to the stories and facts they heard, asking some interesting questions. The coal worker who presented life in a coal mine to them told us that we were the best school group of the day for our behaviour and wonderful questions, so well done Year 5!

Year 2 - Wednesfield in Bloom
Year 2 children from Wodensfield were among many other schools and care homes who contributed towards an art installation for Wednesfield in Bloom this weekend. I think you'll agree they created a vibrant and eye catching display. The wooden flowers are now back in school and will be displayed along the fence at the front of school for you to see.

We then went out into the forest to build shelters which were waterproof. We had to build them in teams of 5, and Carol came around and gave them a water test while we were in them. Afterwards we took part in archery to prepare ourselves fo

Reception have enjoyed both indoor and outdoor learning this week. We have been learning about seasides, pirates and boats. Children had the opportunity to build their own boats using junk modelling and construction resources; they then tested their boats in the water trays.
