4I had a super time at their Christmas party.

Year 3 have thoroughly enjoyed this week at school. The Panto was great fun and they had a wonderful time at the party! Playing games, dancing and having a tasty snack! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all from Year 3!

Choir attended Sing4Xmas this week - a city event held by Wolverhampton Music Services at St John's Church in Wolverhampton. They joined with a number of schools to sing many festive songs and even performed their own piece in front of a large audience. Many of our children and staff got to perform in some of the songs with other children and teachers, and great fun was had by all. This was a super way to end a very busy month of spreading Christmas cheer out and about in our

Year 3 and 4 hosted their fabulous Christmas Carol concert last week and it certainly got everyone in the festive spirit! They worked very hard learning their lines and songs - it was a wonderful event!

In 2H today we used our Geography mapping skills to design a birds eye view map of ‘The Elves Village’.

When Santa met 2H and 2K! What a great Christmas party we had!

Our Year 6 children have been thinking about form and function in their design and technology lessons to create their own steady hand games. The project combined creativity, problem solving and electrical know-how. The children worked hard to design, build, and wire their games. 3HW have been very busy over the last few days making different Christmas Craft items ready to bring home and share with their families. We have also had fun each day finding out what our naughty Elf 'Eric' has been up to.

Our Year 5 and 6 pupils filled the hall with festive cheer during their carol concerts today. From classic carols to modern pop songs, they truly captured the spirit of the season. A huge thank you to our talented students and supportive families for making this event special. Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! ⭐️🌲⭐️

Year 1 have been very busy innovating a poem about Christmas Eve. Each class have created different versions of the original poem and have chosen actions to accompany each verse (to the tune of 'The Wheels on the Bus'. We hope you enjoy the poem. Well done to our KS2 choir who performed at New Cross Hospital. You are doing an amazing job at spreading the festive cheer!

Year 5 have been busy elves this week: planning, designing, making and refining Christmas tree decorations. There have been some tricky skills to master, but resilience and determination have resulted in some fabulous designs!

The children enjoyed wearing their Christmas jumpers to participate in ‘Save the children’ Christmas Jumper Day.

What a phenomenal performance we had today. The children were absolutely awesome and sang so beautifully. Hope you were bursting with pride too.  Many thanks for coming.

Year 3 had great fun this week in our forest! Some were reenacting the adventures of Harriet Tubman, some were playing Stone Age, making shelters, hunting animals and setting up camps. Others were testing their climbing skills on the different equipment, making dens and having a relax in the hammocks! Some children were even using camouflage to hide from their friends! It was wonderful to get outside and enjoy our fantastic forest area!
