4I had a super time at their Christmas party.

Choir attended Sing4Xmas this week - a city event held by Wolverhampton Music Services at St John's Church in Wolverhampton. They joined with a number of schools to sing many festive songs and even performed their own piece in front of a large audience. Many of our children and staff got to perform in some of the songs with other children and teachers, and great fun was had by all. This was a super way to end a very busy month of spreading Christmas cheer out and about in our

Year 3 and 4 hosted their fabulous Christmas Carol concert last week and it certainly got everyone in the festive spirit! They worked very hard learning their lines and songs - it was a wonderful event!

Well done to our KS2 choir who performed at New Cross Hospital. You are doing an amazing job at spreading the festive cheer!

We have made torches in our Design and Technology lessons.

Parents and children worked together on interactive activities from our online safety challenge, exploring real-life scenarios about staying safe online. We are excited to share that Wodensfield Primary School took part in the  Adoption@Heart Countdown Quilt Project ! The quilt has now been revealed online – you can view it here: https://www.adoptionatheart.org.uk/countdown/quilt.html The physical quilt will be displayed at the  Wolverhampton Fringe Festival  on  28th, 29th and 30th November  at The Asylum Art Gallery. 4I have been creating electrical circuits to make bulbs light up in Science.

It was a pleasure to recognise the achievements of some of our writers in today's Wonderful Writers' assembly. Each child won a special gold pencil and a certificate for their efforts. Well done to all of our wonderful writers, including our winners.

Today, our school came together to celebrate the Harvest Festival with joy and gratitude. Year 6 led the way by exploring the word HARVEST, spelling out meaningful words such as heart, starve, have and earth- reminding us all of the deeper messages behind the season.
