In RE this term, Year 6 are looking at charities that have been set up through different faiths - Christian Aid, Islamic Aid and Khalsa Aid.
During the month of November, we will be bringing back the old tradition of collecting a penny for the Guy! This was a celebration of the failure of the Gunpowder plot in 1605 to blow up the Houses of Parliament and the king.
The pennies collected will then be donated to one of the charities that we have looked at following persuasive arguments presented by the children and a democratic vote.
