Reception - Fun in the Sun

Reception have enjoyed both indoor and outdoor learning this week. We have been learning about seasides, pirates and boats. Children had the opportunity to build their own boats using junk modelling and construction resources; they then tested their boats in the water trays.

It was interesting to hear the children investigate floating and sinking and conversations even turned to the Titanic. We stayed safe in the sun by wearing our sun cream, sun hats, playing in the shade and making use of the water trays.
