Week 2 in Nursery

We had a lot of fun exploring patterns, Winter and numbers! We read the book, ‘My Mom and Dad Make Me Laugh’ and talked about the different patterns we saw, especially spots and stripes. The children enjoyed comparing their clothes with their friends’ and noticing similarities and differences.

We also explored the season ‘Winter’ and discovered some of its signs. Ice play was a big hit — the children loved watching it melt and rescuing toys that were frozen inside. At home, you could try freezing small toys in water and letting your child “rescue” them as it melts. ❄️

Creativity was in full swing as we made a winter collage and crafted snowflakes, perfect for celebrating the season. We also explored the number 0, helping the children understand its meaning through playful activities.
