Year 6 Writing at the Art Gallery

A small group of our super Year 6 pupils attended a writing workshop at Wolverhampton's Art Gallery today based around the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. The workshop, hosted by Wolverhampton Council's CLL team, taught the children about using sentences of varying length, different cohesive devices, purposeful vocabulary and circular endings to a story. The children loved looking at the wonderful wildlife photos and all chose one to base their own writing on. A fantastic morning of learning! #wolvesart #wpy61
