Before half term, two teams of Year 6 children travelled to Aston University to take part in the F1 in Schools STEM competition. They designed and manufactured a miniature car to race in the regional finals against 40 other teams from the West Midlands. Each team also produced a portfolio and verbal presentation to talk about their brand identity and design development process.
We are extremely happy to report that the Blazing Bananas won the Verbal Presentation award across all classes (primary and secondary) and the Shimmering Dancers won the Future Vision award for their designs of a future F1 car.
Well done to both teams!
