Year 6 were excited for their Harvest assembly this year! We had a beautiful display of food and it was our first assembly in the hall for 18 months! We started with one of our favourite hymns 'Autumn days' before sharing our new Harvest song complete with vegetable waving and a tractor made by the children. We thought about what Harvest means to us and Mrs Walker made a fruit and vegetable rainbow at the front of the hall, looking at the labels to see where the food had travelled from.
An important lesson we learned was that we shouldn't waste our food and we should only take what we need to make sure there is enough for everyone.
A big thank you to everyone who donated.
